KuoJen Tsao, MD
Clinically, Dr. Tsao is the co-director of The Fetal Center at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, one of the few programs that performs open fetal surgery. In addition, Dr. Tsao is a clinical researcher with interests in quality and safety in pediatric surgery. As the Vice-chair of Quality for the Department of Pediatric Surgery, he leads the Pediatric Surgical Safety Initiative at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. His primary research is focused on the errors and adverse children’s events as well as efficacy of the surgical safety checklist in children’s surgery. Dr. Tsao’s research program supports medical students and surgical residents interested in pediatric surgical clinical research.

A member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Greaser is a team physician for the University of Houston athletics and serves as foot and ankle consultant for athletics at the University of St. Thomas and Houston Baptist University.

Dr. Steven Flores, M.D. is an Assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Flores is the Team Physician for the Houston Texans and Houston Rockets and Head Team Physician for St. Thomas High School. Additionally, he is the Assistant Team Physician for the University of Houston athletics.
Dr. Flores is fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Baylor College of Medicine. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Raj Shani
A native Houstonian, Dr. Raj Shani received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he was nominated for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his orthopedic residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. This was followed by his sports medicine fellowship, focusing on surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle, at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Shani specializes in sports medicine, shoulder, knee, and ankle surgery as well as general orthopedics. He treats patients from 6 years of age and older.
Dr. Shani served as an associate team physician for the Atlanta Falcons, a team physician for the NCAA basketball Final Four in 2013, team physician for the River Oaks Clay Court Championship, Chevron Houston Marathon and events affiliated with the IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute. He currently is the team physician for St. Pius High School and Lutheran North High School in Houston.
Dr. Shani is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. He serves on the faculty of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston and is affiliated with the IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute.
