RankOne Data

RankOne data makes it easy to tell your story as an Athletic Trainer. If you collect it then you can pull everything you need with a few clicks. If you need help just call and they can guide you through.

RankOne

What are some of the common things you RankOne sees from ATs?

End-of-year audits

Newspapers seeking info

Easily filter through the data that has been entered

We take data security seriously

Data transfer is really important in security.

We work with a lot of partners to make the transfer of data as seamless as possible

We partner through our API to integrate those partners.

Do you have a complete online solution for forms?

We put the medical history form online

We have included a physical upload form so parents can include a scan of the form.

There are definitely pros and cons for both.

Going Back to Data Collection

Other than concussion reporting integration what are you seeing?

Justifying the need for Athletic Trainers

  • Reports show how many treatments and using the CPT codes can demonstrate value

The proof of your value is in the data.

Until something bad happens the ATs value is usually glanced over.

It gives you a great way to look back and reflect.

Seen anything weird?

We get calls requesting additions often.

So we add fields when it helps them collect that data.

We like to get a consensus before we make any big changes by checking with the Athletic Trainers.

Ease of use features with RankOne Data:

Print Paperwork

Run Reports

Messaging within RankOne

We are creating a more robust messaging system that allows two-way communication.

It will message the email that the account was created with.

Any features you have cut?

There have been quite a few changes that are in response to user feedback.

What are we doing to prevent the dreaded August 1st breakdown?

We have set up some API boundaries for our partners.

Load-tested the servers.

Thanks, Bethpage Consulting for helping make the trip to SWATA 2023 possible

Preventative Data from Preventicx – 569

Kevin Robel joins Dr. Layci Harrison to discuss Preventative Data Analysis.

Kevin Robel; Layci J Harrison; Preventicx; Preventative Data

Have you been in this situation?

You started collecting data on injuries, doctors visits, attendance, and all of these other random things…

Every time some one on Facebook posts about showing your value you get excited…

That turns to frustration due to the inability to do something with the data.

https://www.facebook.com/sportsmedicinebroadcast/videos/325442741654381/

I hate data analysis

It doesn't matter if it is preventative data analysis…

Injury data…

or anything set of numbers that you have to look at and draw conclusions from.

Kevin Robel discusses how we as Athletic Trainers often do not collect data because we are so busy.

What is Preventicx?

A data analysis consultant that helps you move all of your data into a centralized cloud based storage location.

Kevin can help you visualize your data in a way that is easy for the average person to understand.

The future is being given to data analyst

Have you read Moneyball or or Astroball?

The managers of those teams made huge decisions based on data analytics.

Ask any administrator about getting a new person and they will ask you for your data to support the need and the value it would provide to the program.

New administrative jobs are being given to people who can collect, interpret and produce visuals based on data

Want some more info about Preventicx?

USA Rugby: No AT Means No Match – 340

USA Rugby required any sanctioned event have a Doctor, Athletic Trainer, or Paramedic onsite for the duration of the event or the matches will be cancelled.  Charlie Wund and InjureFree were able to help make this happen by tracking injuries and showing trends.

The best data to have is actionable data.  Use what you have and start making changes or talking about it.  As the data grows then adjust and incorporate the new findings.
