What is the State Association Advisory Committee?

The SAAC exists to walk along side the state association and help unify AT across all states.
Mike share how the NATA is trying to build unity and support the efforts of each state as our profession moves forward.

Go4Ellis – Uber for AT Services – 467

Ellis Mair created Go4Ellis.com out of need to simplify her life and connect ATs with paying customers.  One of the cool things this service has done is create an increase in pay in the areas where it is currently being used.  People see others are paying more and getting their job filled so they up their pay also.

Professional Ethics in Athletic Training with Tim Neal – 464

Tim Neal keeps a pretty closed lip about injuries, specifics, and any information that might harm his patient relationship.  We as medical providers have a responsibility to keep that information to ourselves.  With recent injuries i have begun answering the “what happened to him…” question with: “You will have to ask him.”  This keeps me from giving information to a source that does not need to know.  Know your HIPPA and FERPA rules and be safe, not sorry.
